If you are unsure where to go, what to do, or who to speak to. Give us a call!
Please Read carefully: We always give you a purchase agreement upfront with a clear and concise understanding of charges and pricing. This is to benefit the buyer and us, as it will also contain all pertinent vehicle information such as year-make-model-trim-VIN-mileage. In order to give you an accurate price for tax collection, we MUST know where you reside. There is no added charge for us collecting your TT&L. We charge you what we are charged. We provide this service as a courtesy to our customers. We do not have document fees. We will never add any hidden fees. We have no price adjustment for financing. The price on our vehicles is the price everyone pays. If you live outside of Louisiana, you will need to tell us that upfront. We can not always collect your TT&L in other states. Your bank or credit union may be responsible for providing that service to you for your residing state. However, you will still be required to come to our office regardless of where you live or where/how you get financed. Please refer to our section regarding Fraud/Scams for more information on that.
How much down? Both down payment and monthly payments will depend on credit worthiness and creditor approval. This is not determined by us. If you have a down payment, we can collect that from you in our office where we will provide you with a receipt or you can have your creditor collect that from you at the time of signing. Just make sure to let them know when applying for a loan that you would like to add a down payment. Some places require us to collect down payment, which must be written on our purchase agreement. If we collect your down payment, it will be subtracted from the total requested for financing after TT&L.
Can we finance you? We do not run your credit score or apply for loans for you here at our office. We only ask for your name and address to use on our purchase agreements for your creditor or financial institution. We will never use your information for anything without your consent.
What am I agreeing to with a purchase agreement? The purchase agreement outlines all agreed-upon terms of a sale. It is not obligating you nor us to anything, aside from the agreement of price and any payments to be collected. A purchase agreement outlines the terms of a sale before it is finalized and includes what we will collect from you if we collect your TT&L. Some places would use a buyer's order or purchase order. All similar concepts. It is required by most creditors to apply for an auto loan. You can always have your bank or credit union contact us directly and we can send the purchase agreement to them.
Will a bank finance this older truck with 100k miles? Most of the banks and credit unions we work with regularly do not have restrictions on the age or mileage of the vehicle, as long as the total cost of the vehicle you're applying for is under the J.D. Power retail value. Our vehicles are almost always priced under these retail values. If you are applying locally; let us know which bank, credit union, or finance company and we can tell you what they need or if we know their conditional loan requirements.
Note: If you are interested in In-House financing, we have put a hold on In-House financing at this time. We will continue doing In-House financing in the future.
If you are a first time buyer or otherwise have no credit history built, you will need to have a co-signer for most creditors to consider you. We understand that a co-signer is not always an option. We may be able to give you some advice on getting your credit started on your own. It will still take time to build your credit, as there is unfortunately no quick solution for that.
Requesting a purchase agreement: If you would like a purchase agreement written up and sent to you on a certain vehicle, fill out the form below or give us a call. We will need your name as it appears on your driver's license and the address the vehicle will be registered at, which will include the city and parish you reside in. Make sure to tell us the vehicle of interest. Please double check that your email address is correct as that is where we will send the copy.
You can also just send us a picture or copy of your Driver's License if your information on there is current and correct. Any forms we send you will be sent via PDF attachment.
If you still have questions regarding financing, general registration questions, or otherwise need help, you can give us a call or go to our contact section.
